Default Ch 18, p702 - Nav Layout

Hi Imar,

When I was in the Browser link TIO, I was using Chrome and IE 11, and the IE version shows the nav bar with all the <li> in a vertical column and out out the gray area. Also tried it out with your source code. What could be the CSS solution or is an IE issue?

Thanks.

In fact, in a single moment when is loading probably less than half a second. Even in Chrome you can see that layout, but it changes to what should be the nav layout.

Browser link adds some JavaScript to the page that sometimes messes with the page layout. I've seen that happen in other sites and content management systems too. Does the page look fine without browser link? If so, there's probably not much you can do.

Cheers,

Imar

I had to enable JS in IE

I use the instructions from here:
http://activatejavascript.org/en/instructions/ie

For my surprise it also solved the nav layout problem I had in IE. It seems that the layout it's also created by scripts, not only CSS.

Thanks.

Take a look at the How It Works section on page 250.
