I'm sure I've followed the book exactly as you explained, however in page 728 where I start deploying the site, when I right click the site node, I can't find the option "Publish Web Site" instead, there is "Publish Web App" option??

_I'm using VS 2015.

You can use that command and then in Select a Publish Target choose Custom. That gets you very close to what "Publish" in VS 2013 does.
