Default Session and Application objects

I bought this book and it is very well written. However, I am surprised to see that it has no discission of the Session and Application objects. There's a discussion of the ASP.NET state engine, but that does not mention Session state or Application state. A< I missing something?

Hi there,

Nope, you're not missing anything. I did indeed not cover it as I think in the majority of the cases, you don't need it. In general, it's better to build web sites that do not depend on session state as it'll make things easier to scale.

Cheers,

Imar
