Chapter 16 - Security in your ASP.NET Website
Hi,
I'm don't have the Website or Project Menu in order to select ASP.NET Configuration. I'm unable to find WSAT to manage user accounts and roles. I'm using VS 2012 Ultimate with the 2012 SQL Server on a 64 bit Windows 7.
Thanks for any help

Hi there,
Did you create a Web Site Project (File | New Website) or a Web Application Project (File | New Project)?
Have you been able to carry out all other exercises in the book?

Chapter 16 - Security in your ASP.NET Website
Hi Imar,
I did create a Web Site Project (File | New Website). I've had no problems with the previous exercises in the book thus far.
Thanks for checking this out.

What happens when you create a new web site using File | New Website. Do you have the menu item then?
Did you install third-party plugins to Visual Studio that may have messed up your menu?
Also, check Tools | Options | Environment | Keyboard and the search for Configuration. Do you see Project.ASP.NETConfiguration listed there?

Oh, and by the way: make sure you have the Website selected in the Solution Explorer and not the Solution file itself or some other project; see the last reply on this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...al-studio-2012
Cheers,
Imar

I did find it in Tools | Options | Environment | Keyboard and I did add some extensions for Visual Studio. You said maybe my Menu got messed up so I reset the Menu Bar and selected Project and the Website appeared in the Menu Bar.
Thank you very much Imar!!!
