Hi, I would like to know if I can download the project with a .sln file so that I can run it in VS.

I completed the book a year ago and I am going over chapter 12-16 to re learn about databases. I do not want to start the project from scratch.

I download the project from here but there is no .sln file that I can see.

Note: I completed my first .net live application for my wife business following the instructions in this book, google and common sense.

I completed phase I with the site being static. Now I am starting phase II with online forms, grids and such.

Imar, like other have suggested, I wish you would write a Beginning with MVC book. I know there is other Wrox book like that, but I like your style better.

Hi there,

There is no solution file because the site is a web site project, not a web application. You can open each chapter's folder using the File | Open Web Site command. The introduction of the book has more details about how to open the site so it runs correctly.
