Regarding Book
Hello,
As you know that I have been here for a long time and I found you more convenient person who always had helped me.
No doubt your book (Beginning Asp.Net 3.5....) is one of the best I ever had read. Now you have written another book (Beginning Asp.Net 4.0....) and I am damn sure that it will bring more knowledge and fun with it.
Well I have seen the index of book and I found one extra chapter (based on JQuery) but I wanna ask that is there any other difference in the remaining chapters as this book has not been published in city where I live, hope sooner it will be.
I hope your this book also will be helpful and get famous as the previous one.
And best of luck for this new one.
I also think that this time I will not be making stupid mistakes as I have made since joining the forum and this time I will be able to help others like you.
Thank you.

Hi there,
Yes, jQuery is a new chapter, and so is the chapter on the ADO.NET Entity Framework (replacing the one on LINQ to SQL).
All other chapters have been fully updated with the changes for .NET 4 and Visual Studio 2010. You'll find many of the new ASP.NET and VS features described and used throughout the book and site.
If you feel really comfortable with ASP.NET, you could also take a look at Professional ASP.NET 4 in C# and VB.
Cheers,
Imar

Sir, Which one is powerful and easier to learn and understand?
As you demonstrated the power Of Linq To Sql in Asp.Net 3.5..... and your favorite topic that you would like to choose is Linq. So is JQuery more powerful or just alternative of Linq
Thank you.

Well, I said my favorite topic was LINQ in general, as a language concept, and not necessarily LINQ to SQL.
The ADO.NET framework is eventually much more powerful, but also more difficult to learn.
Cheers,
Imar

Hi there,
Check out the MSDN dcoumentation at http://msdn.microsoft.com.
Also, searching Google for ControlName class MSDN will take you to the MSDN documentation. E.g. searching for
TreeView control MSDN
takes you here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr....treeview.aspx
Cheers,
Imar
