getting error in first execise in database chapter
hi Imar
in page 356,into exercise , in step 2, see the fllowing term:
To this end, locate the folder App_Data of the web site you created
in step 1 using Windows Explorer, right-click it, and choose Properties
i have question:
1- I should right click in solution explorer or i should open myComputer went to C drive and etc to app-data and right click here?
In both case i dont see any app-data propertis

in more detail i dont see any security tab in app_properties
I only see General , Sharing and Customize

Thanks Imar its works fine
But i do it and in the next step I have problem
When I drag files in to app_data and dubble click on they i get error which "Cannot connect to SQL Server"
Must I configure My SQL Server Configuration????

What version of SQL Server did you install? And what is the name of your SQL Server instance? Is it called SqlExpress?

I have two instance
1- SQLEXPRESS
2- SQLMorteza that is Developer

If you have SQL Express, then it should work.
Take a look under Tools | Options | Database Tools | Data Connections. What do you have under the SQL Server Instance Name?

Yes I set it SQLEXPRESS and it works fine
