Hi there,

On the page you linked to, click "Visual Web Developer 2010 Express" and then proceed to install the Web Platform Installer. Once you downloaded the WPI, run it and follow the on-screen instructions to install VWD 2010. You find it under the Tools category of the Web Platform category.

Hope this helps,

Imar

That's odd. Mine looks like the one shown in the attached image.

Maybe it's already installed and then doesn't show it anymore?

Have you tried downloading the full ISO from the same page (with all Express products) and install from there?

One more thing: which version of Windows are you using?

Hi there,

Do you have Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista installed? That's a requirement for VWD 2010 (see the Requirements document for more details).

If that doesn't help you can try to:

1. Download the full ISO and install from there, as hinted in a previous post

2. Contact Microsoft Support and ask for help. AFAIK, the WPI is a fully supported product.

Cheers,

Imar

It should be on your start menu so you can run it again. Otherwise, just download it and run it again. No need to uninstall.

Hopefully this resolves the issue. Those requirements documents do have a purpose sometimes... ;-)
