Default Why do we not associate SiteMapPath Control with any datasource

Hello,
This refers to the material on page 261. I want to know we do not associate SiteMapPath Control with SiteMapDataSource1 as we did with Menu Control and TreeView Control.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

(I see that in the Smart Tag for SiteMapPath there does not seem to be a provision to do so - I want to know why this is so).

The default config files for ASP.NET already take care of this, and know how to look for sitemap.xml. Only when you have different needs do you need to reconfigure this.

Cheers,

Imar

Default Thanks for your reply

Hello Imar,
Thanks for your reply. Good book. Took care of some of the issues yesterday by finding the error I had in my code. The themes now change as they are supposed to. I was missing a NOT (!).

Trying to do a chapter a day.

That can really change things. And those missing !'s are often easy to overlook ;-)
