I am using VS2010 trial addition.

In doing the "Setting a Filter" exercise, when I get to Data Source Config Manager (as shown in figure 13-7), I do not have the Entity icon.

Is there a reference I need to set or some other step that I am missing?

I am hooked into .net 4.0

You need to add the EntityDataSource control to the toolbox as discussed in the other thread you participated in: Unable to select Entity in Data Source Configuration Wizard
