Do you recommend from every web site created in Visual Studio, that you should create a Base page that serves as the parent class?

What are the exact benefits/drawbacks?

Hi there,

I tend to use them in 99% of the cases. There aren't really any drawbacks other than that you shouldn't forget to base your page on one (or use a template that already does it). As a benefit, it's extremely easy to implement behavior that should apply to all your pages at a later stage.
