Hi Imar,

On try it out 'inserting data with detailsview control (pg443), it creates the connection string in web.config in the root, and not in the other web.config within management folder.

Is that correct?

Yep, that's correct, and exactly where you'd want them.... This way, you can manage the connection strings from a signle location.
