Hi,
I'm trying to connect to the database, but i have the following error...
I tried to run the code that I have downloaded from the site her and I have the same problem :( :(
Please help me :(

the database couldn't be opened because it is version 655. This server supports version 612 and earlier. A downgrade path is not supported.
"and then it says that creating the database has aborted"

I don't know if this will help, and not sure where in Databases you are, as I am going to get into the Database part of ASP.NET in C# and VB shortly. But this link might be your answer.

In addition to what Bob says, you may also need to update the references in the connection strings in web.config.

Also, if you have *only* SQL Server 2005 installed, refer back to Chapter 1 where you see how to install the required components for this book using the Web Platform Installer.
