Default how to browse to open ftp web site

Hello Imar,

p. 40 of your textbook discusses how you can browse the file system to open a web site. I want to do the same with an FTP site. I can only get Visual Studio to open a single web site when I specify the exact directory. Since I have several web sites on the ftp server, how do I add the parent directory or browse to the root directory so I can see all the web sites in the solution explorer panel?

For example, I don't know how to move up to the parent/root directory in the solution explorer.

I don't think you can as the UI doesn't allow it. I typically use another FTP client to get the full path and then enter it in VS... Not very convenient but it works for me. It's typically not something I do very often anyway which makes it less problematic for me (as you only need to do it when you open the site the first time....
