I purchased your 'Beginning ASP.net 3.5' book and I am finding it very useful. Ive had a few problems previously but I used this forum to get any answers I need but I am stuck at 'Try it out' page 356. I have opened a new website and I tried to right click on the App_data folder (step 2) - but when I right click, 'Properties' does not show up on the menu ... all I get is 'Add new item’, 'add new folder', 'copy & paste' etc. What am I doing wrong?

When I go to tools > options > database tools > the data connections instance name is SQLEXPRESS. I have tried to drag the .mdf and .ldf files into the app_data folder anyway but I still cant access the database. Please help!

Hi there,

In the TIO, you're instructed to open a Windows Explorer and then locate the folder. In other words, you won't find the Properties command in Visual Studio / the Soution Explorer but in Windows.....
