Default Regarding Chapter 5 and Other Books

First off I just want to say I really love this book's engaging format. The demos really help solidify the concepts of the book. However, I noticed that because this is an ASP.NET book and not a VB.NET book, chapter 5 zips through a ton of VB.NET stuff rather quickly. Some of the concepts are a little fuzzy even after attentively and slowly reading through this chapter. I am very interested in knowing if there is a Wrox VB.NET book that covers everything talked about in this chapter and then some in great detail, with the try it out exercises that the ASP.NET chapters of this book offer. If not, I would be particularly interested in a VB.NET book recommendation by Mr. Spaanjaars. Thanks so much for anything you can offer me.

Yeah, with the core focus of the book on ASP.NET I could only spend a single chapter in VB / C#, and then used the knowledge from that chapter in the remainer of the book.

VB easily warrants a book on its own (or multiple, actually). Wrox has one similar to mine called Beginning VB.NET 2010: http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Visu...dp/0470502223/ I haven't read it myself, but the reviews on Amazon seem to suggest this is the book you're looking for.

Cheers,

Imar
