im working on the jquery section, ive added the code in VB, and then i've requested the page on my browser, it shows a green background and then when I click the button, nothing happens, the green background is still there, i do believe that there is no error with the code, as i have even used the code from downloaded section of chapter 11 from the wrox website.

Hi there,

A few things to check:

1. The actual version of the jQuery file in the Scripts folder

2. The link to the jQuery file in the master page

3. The actual code.

If all this fails, can you post the full code for the page in the browser?

sorry for wasting your time, i made a mistake when i was copying the code from part 6 on page 370, i made a small typing error, this usually happens when i spend to long looking at code, i make minor mistakes, i have rectified the mistake in the code that i have typed
