Default P468 Hand-Coded Data Access Page

What did I do wrong?
When I go to the browser the Genre Box has "System.Data.MaterializedDataRecord" in the drop down menu. When you click the drop down arrow this is all you see as well.

Can you post the code for the page? Looks like you haven't set the correct DataTextField or DataValueField....
