Default Where the 'FileName' came from?

Imar,

I am at the #6 in VB.NET on p516.
Can you tell me where this 'FileName' (bolded and underlined) came from in your codes?

Thanks.

Dim FileUpload1 As FileUpload = CType(ListView1.InsertItem.FindControl("FileUpload 1"), FileUpload)
Dim virtualFolder As String = "~/GigPics/"
Dim physicalFolder As String = Server.MapPath(virtualFolder)
Dim fileName As String = Guid.NewGuid().ToString()
Dim extension As String = System.IO.Path.GetExtension(FileUpload1.FileName)
FileUpload1.SaveAs(System.IO.Path.Combine(physical Folder, fileName + extension))
myPicture.ImageUrl = virtualFolder + fileName + extension

Hi there,

It's a property on the FileUpload control (called FileUpload1 in this code example) that returns the name of the file the user uploaded.

Hope this helps,

Imar
