Default transferring website to windows7

I built websites on XP with visual studio 2008.

I have new computer and not sure how to get my website working. It won't use the database because old version.

Ive tried installing sql 2005express but management studio won't install.

Not sure how to proceed.?

Default solution

I got it working by Deleting the folder C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Data ( in Windows 7) Then restarted and all seems ok.
