Default A Program Using Interger Data

I am impressed that you take the time to assist the purchasers of your fine book. This speaks both to quality and character.

When I followed the book and created the project to divide integers, it worked correctly, as expected except that a dos box appears and must stay open in order for the program to stay running. Is this normal or have I made an error?

Default I GOT IT !!!

Well after more time digging here and there i have discovered my own mistake. Simply put, I selected "Console Application" when i should have selected "Windows Application' in the solution properties.

Onward and upward... with ever fewer silly mistakes I hope!

Default DOS Box

Don't feel too bad about it...everyone out there has done this at least once...it's one of those "flat forehead" mistakes where you hammer the heel of your hand into your forehead while muttering "How could I have forgotten that!" The good news is that you found it...the bad news is that you'll move on to bigger and better bugs (we all do!).

Keep at it!
