Default Why is IE placing the image up into the H1?

I.E. makes me lose my hair.

I've been trying all these contortions to get I.E. to do what it should have in the first place... but to no avail. Help?

Thanks.

Ian

Hi, it looks like the problem goes away if you put IE in standards mode. Do that by changing the Document Type Declaration at the top of the HTML source to a DTD that invokes standards mode in Explorer.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...hancements.asp

IE in quirks mode and IE in standards mode are two completely different browsers, it's best to always work in standards mode.

Regards,
Rich
