I think in the future also I might face the UCase variables issue. So whenever we are dealing with variable names we should always change them to lowercase and then test them - is this the solution?

Yes, well usually, it's not a problem:

Application("MyTest") will return the correct information.
However, the sample from the book not only uses the value of the variable, but also the name of the variable. In those scenarios, where the name is important, UCasing them seems like a smart thing to do.

Good this issue is finally solved. If you mention this in the next edition of your book, it will be a great help for the people using ME+PWS.

Well, the book says that PWS is *not* supported, so mentioning this issue may give you the impression that it *is* supported after all ;) I'll keep it in mind though....
