Default CSS style sheets

Hi
Begining Dreamweaver MX 2004

I have never used Dreamweaver before and have found the first 3 chapters very easy to follow and have built my site, the Cooking Place.

I am now on chapter 4 and I'm stumped. My code does not contain <h1> tags the code is <p align="center" class="style4">Welome to The Cooking Place </p>

I have deleted the align="center" and followed the chapter for creating CSS sheets. It does not change the site.

I cannot see what I have done wrong? I have gone back to the copy file and re-followed the book and still get no <h1> in the code.

I have Studio MX 2004 education version, is this the problem?

thanks

Paul

I haven't read the book. Are you asking how to add a <h1> tag?

Or try this, in your CSS add .style4 { font-size: 18pt;}

Or post your code.

In the book page 130 is TRY it out. it says locate the <h1> tag around line 90 in the code, and take out the text-align attribute. There is no <h1> tage in the entire code. I have checked every line.

Hi Paul,

I quickly scanned the book, and it seems you have overlooked something on page 114. It says to open index.htm, and then type some text. Step 3 then says: "Click inside the first line of text and change it to a level-1 heading. To do this bla bla bla".

That's the <h1> you need to locate later.

Does this help?

Cheers,

Imar
