I am working on Chapter 8, page 278 in the Beginning Dreamweaver MX 2004. I have created the page cookiecounter.asp based on my main template. The problem I have is that the "+" & "-" buttons on the Bindings tab in the Applications panel are not activated, so I am unable to click on the "+" button as instructed in step 2. on page 278. My main template was created as an ASP.NET VB type of document not a VBSCRIPT type of document. Thinking that this might have had something to do with the inactivated buttons I created a new template as a VBSCRIPT type of document from which I created a new cookiecounter.asp page. I still have inactivated "+" & "-" buttons on the Bindings tab of the Application panel.

Can you tell me why I can't select the "+" button on the Bindings tab?

When you look next to the plus and minus button on the Bindings panel, what type of document does it say you're working with?

Right. The Beginning Dreamweaver MX 2004 book uses ASP VB Script and JavaScript, so I guess you'll need to rebuild your template so it's based on an ASP file, not an ASPX file....
