Default Operation must use an updateable query

Hi all, I am working through the book and I have just made the Create New Events page, (page 508 in the book) when I run the page and try and input some info but when I try to enter the info I get an error,

Error Type:
Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005)
Operation must use an updateable query.
/thesoccersite/admin/createEvent.asp, line 135,

I have looked on your website Imar and followed your How Do I Fix ASP 80004005 errors? guide, and the test seemed to work as I got a "Record inserted successfully" message, however it does not want to replicate on my own page!! Any suggestions??

Thanks
R

Don't worry!! Sussed it, I had set the access levels on the folder on my C Drive not on the local server! Doh! Ah well done it now thankfully,

Sorry I couldn't respond any earlier. Been pretty busy....

Glad it's working now and let us know if you have other problems.
