Default Chapter 8 Summary question

Hi, I'm at end of chapter 8 and it asks you to try and hide
"The outcome is:" text until the form is submitted. I can't figure this out and was wondering if someone had an answer. Thanks

Hi Keith,

You can find all the answers to the Why Not Try exercises for TheSoccerSite on my web site, here: http://Imar.Spaanjaars.Com/WhyNotTry.aspx

Just choose an item from the drop-down list and you'll see the question and answer of each Why Not Try.

Cheers,

Imar

Imar, The book I have is Beginning Dreamweaver MX not Beginning Dreamweaver MX 2004. It has been on my list of things to get through for long time and was shelved awhile. Do you have the exercises for the chapter ends for this book. Also am I missing out on alot by not having Beginning Dreamweaver MX 2004? Thanks I am super happy I found this site and look forward to you hopefully helping me as I progress.

Hi Keith,

The answers will work more or less for the MX version of the book as well; there are some differences, nut not that big. Take another look and if you have specific questions, I can help you.

Regarding MX 2004: it depends. MX 2004 has much improved CSS support and a whole lot of other new features. However, in the meantime, DW 8 has been released, which is even better than MX 2004.

If you have MX and the MX version of the book, stick to it. Most of your knowledge is transferable to MX 2004 and 8.
However, if you can get hold of a copy of MX 2004 (both the book and Dreamweaver) that is of course recommended, as it has a richer feature set that is explained in the book.

HtH,

Imar
