Default counter clocks

Hello all,
I'm a newbie, and am in the middle of the Cooking Place site while building my own one. I wanted to know if I could put a hit counter on my own site, so that I and others can see how many peeps have visited it from the homepage. Would I be able to download one from somewhere and place it in, or better still build an original one in DW?

Hi there,

You can take a look at my hit counter articles: http://Imar.Spaanjaars.Com/QuickDocId.aspx?quickdoc=165

They follow a similar pattern as the Dreamweaver book, so I think you'll find them easy to follow.

Cheers,

Imar

Another question:
Would it be possible to display an actual clock on the homepage of my site, which says "You are visitor #1,000,000." for example? If so, would I have to download it from somewhere, or could I create it from scratch?

:D

Hi there,

Did you read the article I linked to? It explains exactly how to do this. Look under the section "Testing it Out".

Cheers,
