Greetings. Is this book an assigned text for your class? I'm working through it on my own.

It's generally a pretty good book in my opinion, but you'll find that there are several instances, especially later in the book, where the code in the text/book doesn't match the downloaded code.

One example is the code for ch12_eg01. A glaring example is ch12_eg2, where the download code simply doesn't work in one important aspect- it doesn't compare the text entered for "password" and "confirm password". You'll also learn that the errata for the book is completely worthless as it addresses only meaningless and harmless typos, rather than code errors.

Nonetheless, it's a pretty good and thorough book.

Good luck.

Correction. ch12_eg02 does compare passwords in IE and Firefox, but not in Google Chrome.

I strongly suggest working through every example and sticking with it until you get it no matter how long it takes.
