Simulator Will Not Load App

Working on pages 42 - 43

I've created the XIB file, saved, connected my Outlets and Actions,

and get an error in the Simulator. It's just plain black, and I'm taken back to Xcode IDE with a message saying

0x930b2176 <+0010> jae 0x930b2186 <__kill+26> <----Thread 1: Program received signal: "SIGABRT".
