I downloaded the jdk version 6 but when I try to run it I get an error message that says jdk-6u22-windows-i586.exe is not a valid Win32 applilcation. Has anyone ever seen this message before?

And another problem I'm having - even though I added a path environment varaible through Control Panel\System\Advanced tab\Environment Variables I still can only run programs from the directory the complier is in. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks very much,
