Default Swings and servlets

Hello friends,
          Can anybody of you u tell me how a servlet can be invoked from a swing application.

P.S. Honestly I don't know anything about servlets. I just read about the URL object. It resides in the java.net package. I suggest you study this package.
Besides, at the sun site there are free tutorials on all kind of special topics. Why are you still visiting us anyway?

Dear Friends,
I cannot follow the Line class from Sir's Book.
IVOR HORTON : BEGINNING JAVA 2.
Can somebody explain me the nitty-gritty details
of the TryGeometry class too.
Honestly i tried going through the code but i am lost.

try to use URL class of java.net with protocol http.
