Example 11 chapter 12 doesn't run

I down loaded the source code for example 11 of chapter 12 and it didn't run using firefox. I got the following error:

Access to restricted URI denied" code: "1012
[Break On This Error] xmlDocument.load("ch12_examp11.xml");

Does anybody know why this happens? Is there something wrong with my browser setting?

I ran a test and it works for me. So let me ask a few questions:

What Firefox version are you using?

Is the XML file in the same location as the HTML file? They should be the same directory. Also, the same origin policy applies here. The XML file must come from the same origin as the HTML file. The reason I mention that is because an "access denied" error usually means that the file isn't coming from the same domain.
