Default Project template choices for Chapter 3 example

I have a question hopefully someone can help me out with. I'm just beginning to go through this book, and started working on the examples in Chapter 3, creating the Hello World app.

However, when I try to open a new project, I am missing many of the project templates that they list in the book, including the whole Comman Line Utility group that I am supposed to choose from for this example.

I have Xcode 2.0 as installed from my OS discs. I am downloading Xcode 2.1 as I type this so maybe installing that will fix my problem.

I don't know what I did, but it is fixed for me now. I just started installing a bunch of different packages from the developer install tools, so apparently the default install doesn't work correctly with the book. I have submitted as an errata that while they have an "Installing the Developer Software" section in Chapter 2 it doesn't actually tell you anything about installing the developer software.

Open mouth, insert foot.

I figured out how I got it to work. The first times I was trying I was using Apple-N to open a new project. Well, it turns out that Apple-N opens a new file, not a new project. When I use Shift-Apple-N the correct choices appear as listed in the book.
