Unhappy Ch 18: SQL Server Data Tools?

I'm using SQL Server 2012 with Tools.
I thought that the "Data Tools" were included (guess not)
SO, when I got to pg 664, there is no "Business Intelligence" piece,
so, foolishly I downloaded "SQL Server Data Tools for Visual Studio 2012", installed it as "merge" with the existing SQL Server (and it did);
started it and went WHAT? -- it's a completely separate application (that I can't figure out how to use) -- wonderful
Ideas on how to get the simple screen of Fig 18-2?

Talking Solved!

I'm an idiot; all one has to do is CONNECT to the SQL Server's databases from the DDST application and one can get Fig 18-2, plus, so far, the instructions/figures match and work
