Wouldn't it be much more beneficial for all the forum users if you left your problem AND provided the solution? Perhaps someone else has this problem too? Don't be embarrassed.
It's been so long I almost can't remember my origninal problem. I seem to remember that the code worked fine, I just made a typo when typing it out in Visual Studio. The error was just a typo on my part. The code should work fine as is.
