Chapter 14: view_member.php and view_members.php

hi,

has anyone concluded the chapter 14 where it talks about adding a field named "admin" to our database? I've done that and I can make the scripts view_member.php and view_members.php viewable only to registered users. What I can't do is the part where we check if the logged user is an admin or not.
