Default Chpt 6 Exercise

There's something I don't understand about this exercise. It says to create the edit code for the people table. If I allow edits to that table, doesn't it mess up the movie table? For example, if I change Jim Carey to a director instead of an actor in the people table, he's still listed in the movie table as the lead actor.
