Hi,

I'm getting the following message when trying to configure MySQL.

ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: OBDC@localhost <Using password: NO>

I don't know where to go from here, and the book isn't helpful. Does anyone know how to help me?

if you have mentioned as password as NO kindly replace with ""

Otherwise mention the right password in the req. place of connection string.

Can you post your connection string for ref. or you can recheck .....
 ODBC 2.50 Local database:

"Driver={mySQL};Server=localhost;Option=16834;Data base=mydatabase;"



 ODBC 2.50 Remote database:

"Driver={mySQL};Server=data.domain.com;Port=3306;O ption=131072;Stmt=;Database=my-database;Uid=username;Pwd=password;"



 ODBC 3.51 Local database:

"DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};SERVER=localhost;DATABASE=myDatabase;USER= myUsername;PASSWORD=myPassword;OPTION=3;"



 ODBC 3.51 Remote database:

"DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};SERVER=data.domain.com;PORT=3306;DATABASE= myDatabase;USER=myUsername;PASSWORD=myPassword;OPT ION=3;"

I come across the same Error like kara333 as I wanna configure MySQL under UniServer3_2a. How can I check and modify the connection string? thanks for a feedback
