as the subject for this thread indicates, i am just extremely let down by the amount of errors in the code. i paid good money for this book and i expect the code to be (as close to) perfect as possible. i can see having a few problems with people running different versions of PHP and MySQL but really now, what's with the -'s in .php file names (transact-user.php transact-foo.php) comon now... that's just lazy.

i bought this book to further my knowledge of php and mysql or if anything to make sure the foundation i have with said languages is solid. but i have had nothing but problems with the code from here (and the book).

i find this completely unacceptable and would like to see a reply by the authors (at least one of you). please let me know why you all have been so careless with your coding examples.

I would NOT recommend this book to anyone.

Half of the code doesn't even work, the support is horrible, I asked for one simple question and waited 1 month and haven't recieved a reply. The authors are obviously here but neglect to reply. Why even bother offering answers to technical questions in the book if no one is active enough to reply? It was my first wrox book purchase ever, and it is going to be my last.

yeah, don't buy this book. I spend more time debugging the code and trying to figure out these damn errors, rather than actually learning.
