I have tried the code in chapter 10 'try it out 5' for multipart messages and get odd results. The screen display shows both the plain text message and the MIME format message (both formatted) but also shows the header information.

The other odd part is that when the mail reaches my hotmail account it does not get formatted through the html, the plain text is displayed with the html tags in the text. However if I use the MIME only code to send the mail it does get formatted in hotmail.

So, the question is, is there something wrong here or am I expecting too much!

Thank you to anyone who can throw some light on this as I am a beginner with PHP. Enjoying the challenge but occasionally facing a brick wall!
