On page 93 under the connecting to the MySQL server section, create new username and password. I tried to do this using the chapter 1 pb 21 instructions. It says I need to be logged in as root. so I logged in like so "c:\foxserv\mysql\bin>mysql mysql -u root" but all I get is the usage screen for mysql, can't login.

I think the root of my problem is not being able to login as root.

Any advice?
