For the Chapter 14 Mailing List, I keep getting the following error when I try to use the admin page:

[05-Jul-2008 00:15:39] PHP Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /_test/mail_list/class.SimpleMail.php on line 4

Looks to be a PHP5 vs PHP4 (on the server) issue.
