hi guys

I am having a terrible time getting my outging email to work. Must have rad every article on google on this topic, in vain.

the problem is with my SMTP address I assume. Since I have a stand alone win 2003, I am setting the SMTP adress to the servername. No email is geenrated however when I add a user to a site.

My SMTP service is running and in my IIS Default SMTP Services:
Authentication is set to "Anonymous".
Relay Restrictions is Set to "All except below (which is empty)
Connection is set to "All except below (which is empty)
Websites->Default web application (not running) properties is set to TCP port 80

Would be very grateful for any help on this topic.
