I knew it ..just didn't want to have to do it
... build a DEV server for SP2013
Everything was cool till I got to Chapter 4 and found out I really do need a DEV server w/tools to really do the examples / exercises... That cloud and app model don't get you into the fun stuff without the install..
Even after use the the 360 there ... Referencing a remote server like 2007 won't work either..
The book even says so: “(You do require a local instance of SharePoint to be installed to use these options.)”
