Default Suggestion for your Website

Hi,

I've just bought both the Beginning VB.Net 2003 and Professional VB.Net 2003, I'm pretty new to .Net - most of my work so far has been for Web based applications, and I'm still finding my feet - I hope your books will prove a valuable resource to me.

My suggestion was based on the text on page 4 (thats as far as I've read so far!) of the Beginning VB.Net 2003 book which suggests coming to your Website for the sample code for each chapter - I've managed to find it but was somewhat surprised that there wasn't one big zip file with all of the chapters in. I appreciate you need to make them seperate files too for those with slower connections or indeed those that only want a specific chapters sample code, but as I'm a greedy so and so I'd be quite happy to download the lot in one big file (whilst I ride my phat pipe shouting "Yeee-hawww" :))...

Anyway, only a suggestion - but a seperate file at the bottom that says something like "All chapters" would be great.

Looking forward to getting in to the book now so I'll be off.

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob-
I have discussed your concerns with our Media Development department and they are going to post 4-5 chapters per zip file in addition to listing the files separately. Due to file size restrictions, we can't post all of the chapters in one zip file.

It might take about a week before you see the postings, but I hope this helps! Thank you for your feedback!

Hi Katie,

Many thanks for the reply - and - wow! That's great - thanks very much, I hope this helps some other users too..

Incidentally, currently on page 149 of the VB.Net Beginners book - whilst I know some of this already its been a really good read, explained very well thus far..

Top notch!

Regards

Rob
