In copying the code in my previous post, I missed the line

    objData.OpenConnection()

Its in my code

Thearon,

SUCCESS...Got it to work.
I moved the parameter for the field used to finf the record to the end andthat did it. Now I'm gping to do the same on the full database and hopefully it will continue to work,
