Default DataSet Example Problem

Hello All,

I am having a great deal of trouble working through the DataSet Example in chapter 16 and was wondering if anyone might be able to assist me. I am running Visual Basic Express and SQL Server Express on a Windows XP Pro box that is part of a domain. I do not have access to the pubs database. Because of this, I am trying to connect to another SQL database that I created but am subsequently having no end of trouble. I was wondering if someone may be able to assist me with the proper connection string syntax for a custom database.

Has anyone else experienced difficulty in getting the example in this chapter working?
