Chapter 18; Sample code has runtime error

The code to create a "Simple Web page" on page 581 throws an exception when run. the error is "Unhandled win32 exception in IExplore.EXE [3280]. Visual Studio then wants to enter a debug mode. I have tried downloading and running the source code from the WROX website and get the same error as when I entered the code manually. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
