Hi

I am following the configure gridview control try it out and at step 2 in the Advanced SQL Generation Options the checkboxes are greyed out and are unavailable for selection. I have gone back over the steps without success. Any hints as to what is wrong here?

Hi,

You've probably discovered this already but for the sake of posterity... I had the same problem and it turns out that it was because of the Events table that is created earlier... open it in the design view and right click the blank arrow next to the id row and click 'Set Primary Key'.

That solved the problem for me. The book doesn't mention you have to do that.
